How to fix screen tearing in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
- If your TV or monitor supports Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) then you should enable it first.
- Secondly, you should try running the game at a 60Hz refresh rate as of now until developers come out with a patch fix.
- Alternatively, you turn on/off V-Sync on your in-game settings menu to check for the issue.
Though Xbox Series S and X supports higher refresh rate gaming, setting up the gameplay at 60Hz refresh rate will keep the game running at 60 FPS also for optimized visuals & gameplay.
However, we can’t completely rely on it because even on 60Hz the screen tearing should be there. Though running the game at 30Hz or 30 FPS can fix the screen tearing issue, we won’t gonna recommend it.
For a permanent solution, all you need to just keep waiting until Ubisoft releases a patch fix for this issue. Till then stay tuned for more info.
